The 5% life is nice (especially since the strength should give you 300+ life with BO anyway), so that all stacks. The teleport lets you gain an extra point into warmth, so nice mana regen. For PvM where monsters are dying constantly, 14 LAEK is worth a ton more than +7 replenish life as long as you can kill 1 monster in 2 seconds. The 750 defense is worth more than the 70% ED, especially if you have to use a low str required base.
